PRESS AND FILM:
Fikru and his art have been the feature of numerous articles in
newspapers and magazines in Ethiopia and France. In 1998, an
18-minute program titled "Fikru and his Life," was produced by
Ethiopian Television, and Fikru was featured on French television
in June 2004 in connection with his solo exhibition in Hardelot. A
free-lance documentary film maker in Washington, DC is currently
filming Fikru's preparation for the exhibition at the Nevin Kelly
Gallery with an eye towards preparing a documentary about the
artist.
